War Crime?

A presumption of guilt over the bombing of the Doctors Without Borders hospital in Afghanistan exists. Any U.S. Government reticence whatsoever concerning the opening of an inquiry into possible U.S. intent to kill doctors and patients is unacceptable, for–regardless of guilt–such reticence not only would create the appearance of guilt but would thereby yet further demean the already tarnished reputation of the U.S. And should guilt be established, all officials found to have participated knowingly in such a crime should be charged with murder by a court capable of independent action. As an American patriot, I could not but utterly condemn and reject such barbarism. If we copy the behavior of the savages we condemn, then they will already have won the war.
